day 2
So far so good! Excellent weather!! No wi fi or cell phone service at apt. Will try to down load pics but I am on a huge learning curve... Drove around half of island but then hgwy ends.. Met up with a mule in the road ...lol. And so far no accidents considering I'm driving on left side of road ;) going swimming and look into sailing. Have to go to bars, resteraunts to get wi fi... Not drinking and driving...not that crazy!!!

A Gemini's perspective/ Before the journey
My mind splits in half
Two people looking at fixed eyes
Just different visions
A path to here or to there
These dreams converge
Like a spoken word
But without power
One foot follows the other
Down a hot asphalt road
Where heat blurs the horizon
Thirst stays on my lips
I trod forward
I know I will get there
To be refreshed and cooled
Then a perfect rest
Rejuvenates me for new journeys

Gratitude
I would like to thank my family for all their love and cheering support they have given me over the years. Especially for their amazing blessing when I announced out of the blue this cunning plan which had no details other than "I'm off to see the world and quitting my job to do so!"
A special thank you to my dear friend Dave whose constant support, guidance, thoughtfulness, spiritual tactics and comic relief are so greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten.
To my buddies Dan and Cale and all the rest of SMH, thank you for your support and listening ear, or pretending to anyway, to my daily excuberant ramblings!
Hugs, kisses and gratitude to my roomate Kelli, whose energetic, cheerful freindship I have so enjoyed. Together we shared our life changing experinces we have endured and I am thankful for this.
And to my lovely Ya Ya's, Lori, Cola, Yvette, Becky, Jolynn, Sharon, Deb, Michelle, Rosalie and Susie, thank you, thank you, thank you for your love and support, cheers and laughter. I am so blessed to have such friends. I will surely miss our silly fun filled, laugh to you pee, quick where is Jan's inhaler, days we were able to share. But i carry you all in my heart know you are with me on this quest.
